Integration of 3rd Party Solutions

During our 50+ years in business, DMW Automation has integrated many 3rd party solutions into our assembly and packaging platforms. Some of these solutions include labeling systems, feeding & orienting systems, a variety of pumping solutions (positive displacement, time-pressure, peristaltic, and others), CO2 and YAG lasers, ink jet printing, robotics, and a multitude of inspection tools (vision cameras, Linear Variable Differential Transducers (LVDT’s), Hi-Pot and other electrical test mechanisms.

Examples of these include:

Paper cutting with CO2 lasers integrated into our high speed continuous motion platforms
Positive displacement dispensing of various liquids and pastes integrated into our continuous motion platforms, and
Ink Jet and laser etching followed byvision inspection of printed codes on our Vial ID and Inspection platform

Two examples of this include:

Weiler Labeling Systems (WLS) of Moorestown, NJ

Since 1990, we have worked with WLS to build their pressure-sensitive labeler rotary and in-line platforms. The rotary platform is based on a patented orientation technology originally developed by DMW Automation. This technology helped WLS to become the undisputed U.S. market leader for labeling systems in the Pharmaceutical industry.

WLS and DMW Automation are sister companies under common ownership and senior management.

Lighthouse Instruments of Charlottesville, VA

Since 2003, we have worked with Lighthouse Instruments to build their automated VISTA laser adsorption spectroscopy leak detection system for the Pharmaceutical industry. We are responsible for designing and manufacturing all material handling aspects of the product which includes vial transport, accept/reject management, and more.
