Why should I automate my production facility?

DMW Automation's custom automated equipment, production and assembly systems, and solutions can help address manufacturing and operations issues that are widespread in the industrial sector.

Our custom automated equipment or systems can improve:

  • Product quality and repeatability
  • Production employee ergonomics
  • Plant floor space efficiency
  • Production employee safety
  • Inventory management
  • Plant productivity by reducing waste, increasing production rates, etc.

Is there a reason to use refurbished equipment?

When the time comes to update your equipment, production line, or entire operation, you need to make a choice. You can either purchase new automation equipment or systems or upgrade your current equipment or systems.

If you choose to remanufacture, DMW Automation’s engineering group will take your existing equipment, including non-DMW Automation equipment, and completely rework it from the ground up. Although upgraded or refurbished machines and systems can sometimes cost less than new equipment, each situation is different and needs to be assessed individually.

What information needs to be provided to you to have a quote developed for automated machinery?

With the initial communication we can determine if we are a good fit for your application. We will then ask you to supply us specifics about your requirements such as the specific assembly process, production rates, space requirements, component specifications, drawings and samples, special needs such as printing, vision systems, etc.

The next stage is for us to have our engineering group generate a high-level conceptual design that can be used to determine pricing and delivery as well as to obtain customer approval as to the general design approach.
