DMW Automation provides complete mechanical, electrical, and programming engineering services to meet your automation needs.
Our mechanical engineers are highly proficient in SolidWorks 3D CAD and can also work with AutoCAD when required. Our electrical engineers work primarily with PLC based control systems and are proficient at working with a number of hardware and software platforms. These include but are not limited to:
In addition, our engineers are proficient at integrating many 3rd party solutions such as feeding systems, marking & coding systems, vision inspection systems, lasers for inspection, cutting and/or welding applications, and more.
Generally, our engineering services are only available in a design-build scenario. We are not an engineering only firm.
DMW Automation does offer build to print services, however experience shows it is not without its challenges with respect to troubleshooting and other issues. Because of this, we encourage the customer to budget and schedule for DMW Automation’s engineering staff to review the design to help verify its viability. The complexity of the design can have an impact on the appropriateness of this approach.
Yes. DMW Automation has full installation services for our equipment. We can complete the entire installation, both mechanically and electrically, or we can support your own staff as requested.
DMW Automation has significant experience working with general concepts developed by our customers. They often have significant knowledge of their own production processes and equipment.
After initial review and assessment of your concept, we can tell you whether we are the right fit to take your concept to final design and manufacture.
Yes we do. DMW Automation provides full field service activities for automated equipment we designed and/or manufactured, often with one of the technicians that helped build your equipment.
We’re sorry, but DMW Automation does not perform field service for equipment built by other custom automated equipment suppliers.
Yes, we have experience assisting customers in supplementing or replacing aging or poorly performing automation equipment and building the new automated equipment to functionally perform the same as the current equipment.
Yes, assuming that the current equipment lends itself to be retrofitted for use with the new applications and was manufactured by DMW Automation.
DMW Automation does not run production as a typical service, however depending on the product type, volume, and other factors; it could be something we might support.
Yes, we routinely handle all documentation required to ship internationally for both sea and air.
It is standard practice for DMW Automation to provide layout support for our customers as part of the overall project. Just provide us with your current plant layouts and desired location of the new equipment and we can help ensure a proper fit.
We’re sorry, but DMW Automation does not evaluate automation equipment built by other suppliers except within the context of providing new or reversed engineered automated equipment.
