Fabrication and Assembly

DMW Automation has significant internal capability to fabricate critical components required for the most demanding applications. We operate 13 machining centers, including 6 CNC machines. We can machine parts, including 4-axis capability, directly from 3-D CAD solid models.

We also utilize outside fabricators as appropriate.

Using this dual approach provides DMW Automation with the flexibility to optimize the time and quality of fabricated parts based on the specific component requirements. We operate three unique assembly areas handling a wide range of equipment types. These are:

1. Area 1: Heavy Industrial Projects - For equipment up to 120 feet long, that require overhead crane support.
2. Area 2: Factory Automation Projects - For equipment up to 82 feet long.
3. Area 3: Medical Products Assembly - For equipment requiring cleaner environment, this 4,000 square feet area can handle lines up to 75 feet long.

All three assembly areas have a wide-ranging supply of power options for both domestic and foreign voltage and frequency requirements.

Our assembly staff averages over 12 years of experience in machine building and most are also machinists. Our fabrication and assembly staff members have a wealth of knowledge debugging complex automation lines in preparation for final testing. We assign a project leader to each automation project on the assembly floor. This project leader is responsible for the overall assembly team.
